2 mm clear cast acrylic (PMMA) sheet. It cuts with a bright polished edge, almost glass-like, and does not develop internal stresses during machining. Light transmission is 92%, higher than glass, at half the weight.
Cast, not extruded
Higher molecular weight: it cuts without internal stress, does not crack when drilled and comes off the laser with a glossy edge.
Cut to the exact size
Any size up to 1000 × 600 mm with a tolerance of ±0.5 mm. No surcharge for unusual dimensions.
Much safer than glass
Ten times more impact resistant and half the weight. If it does break, it does not create sharp shards.
Protected all the way to your workbench
Film on both sides, rigid packaging with corner protectors and delivery in 24-72 h to mainland Spain.

What to use 2 mm for
Counter displays
Up to A4. Lightweight, economical and sufficient when the part is supported by a base.
Plinths and supports
Display bases, lecterns and dividers with a glossy cut edge.
Templates and tooling
Cutting guides, paint masks and hole templates.
Back panels and dividers
Display-case backs, drawer dividers and decorative panels.
Made to order
We do not currently stock this finish as a sheet, so we cannot give you an automatic price. We order it from our supplier: tell us the dimensions and quantity and we will send you a quote the same day. The lead time is around 3 working days longer than usual.
How we make it
Automatic nesting
You only pay for the surface area your part uses.
Cut at a calibrated speed
For 2 mm we cut at 33 mm/s. Faster would leave a rough edge; slower would burn it.
Part-by-part inspection
We measure critical dimensions, check for burn marks and reapply film before packing.
