Data controller

What data we process

  • Contact and billing details: name, email, phone number, NIF or CIF, legal company name, and shipping and billing addresses.
  • Technical files: the 3D models and vector files you upload, together with metrics derived from their analysis (volume, surface area, dimensions, cutting length).
  • Order data: configurations, amounts, status history and related communications.
  • Minimum technical data: a first-party cookie that is strictly necessary to keep your cart between visits. We do not use advertising or profiling cookies.
  • Usage statistics: we measure how many people visit the website, which pages they view and what they search for in the shop search, using our own analytics and no cookies. From search text, we remove email addresses, phone numbers, document numbers and order codes before storing it. We don't store your IP address: it is combined with your browser and a secret key that changes every day to create a code used only to group your visits for that day. It can't be reversed and the next day it no longer corresponds to you. There is no profiling, no tracking across days or websites, and no third parties are involved.

We do not process bank card details: payment takes place entirely within the payment gateway environment (Getnet or PayPal), which acts as an independent controller for that processing.

Purpose and legal basis

  • To perform the manufacturing and delivery contract you request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • To comply with tax and accounting obligations arising from invoicing (Article 6(1)(c)).
  • To answer enquiries and complaints, and keep your files for twelve months so you can repeat an order, based on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)). You can object at any time.
  • To understand in aggregate how the website is used so we can improve it, based on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)). Because neither cookies nor persistent identifiers are stored, this measurement does not require your consent.
  • To remind you by email about a cart you left unfinished, if you ticked the notifications box (Article 6(1)(a)) or if you have bought from us before and the message concerns similar products (Article 21.2 of the LSSI). This is the only marketing email we send, only one is sent per cart, and every message includes an unsubscribe link. Emails about your orders —confirmations, invoices and shipping updates— are not advertising and will continue to be sent.

How long we keep it

  • Billing data: six years, as required by commercial and tax regulations.
  • Technical files: twelve months from the last manufacture, or sooner if you ask us.
  • Cart and unconfirmed quotes: sixty days.
  • Usage statistics: twelve months, after which they are deleted automatically.
  • Your objection to receiving marketing email: indefinitely, because that is exactly what lets us make sure we do not write to you again.

Recipients

We share only the data strictly necessary with: the payment gateway you choose, the carrier making the delivery, our tax adviser and the platform hosting provider. All act as processors under signed agreements, except the payment gateways, which are independent controllers. We do not make international transfers outside the European Economic Area except those that may arise from using PayPal, covered by its own safeguards.

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection to processing by writing to hola@haztupieza.es from the address associated with your orders. If you believe we have not handled your request correctly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

Confidentiality of your designs

The files you upload are stored outside the public web server and cannot be accessed by URL. Only members of the technical team preparing your job can access them. They are not shared with third parties, published or used for any purpose other than manufacturing your order. If you need one, we can sign a specific confidentiality agreement before receiving the file.
